Year of the Horse
On the Lunar New Year, Mel opened the Year of the Horse at her Dallas, TX studio, Gallery One Two Three. More than a year was spent creating new pieces featuring new blue horses, portraits, woodcut prints, drawings, bronze sculptures, and a video installation—this body of work culminates a lifetime devoted to celebrating the strength, majesty, and sensitivity of horses.
